Book your event with us! We are available for private function hire for a range of special occasions. Please see our booking terms and conditions below.

Small Events

For smaller functions including:
• Children’s Parties
• Baby Showers
• Dinner Parties
• Gender Reveals
• Christenings

A £150.00 refundable deposit is required to secure your booking, which includes up to 4 hours free hire, with any additional time charged at £25.00 per hour thereafter.

Large Events

For larger functions including:
• Weddings
• Engagement Parties
• Christmas Parties
• Birthday Parties for 18+

A £150.00 refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.

To receive your deposit back, a minimum spend of £300.00 behind the bar must be met during your event. If the minimum spend is achieved, your deposit will be refunded in full. Time slots to be confirmed

Deposits are required within 10 days of booking to confirm all bookings and dates are not secured until payment has been received. Further T&C's apply at the bottom, please read before booking.


Our function room is available to hire on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. However, we cannot except functions that land on match days at the MKM stadium, as we open our bar for both Hull City and Hull FC games at home. With the exception of functions or events that were booked and secured before new season matches.

When you book the room for your event, it includes a fully staffed bar with alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. You can decorate the room to your liking CONFETTI, GLITTER, CONFETTI FILLED BALLOONS, ANY TYPE OF TABLE SCATTER ARE NOT ALLOWED with exceptions of gender reveal balloons, however, this must be cleaned up by the customers. We do not offer catering, but you are welcome to bring your own buffets or catering for your own event. However, if you are using equipment for food warmers, we cannot allow any type of FLAMMABLE/GAS BUNSENS - has to be electric or a water bain-marie (which is safely supervised).

Terms & Conditions

Booking & Deposits

  • A booking can be provisionally held for up to 10 days without a deposit. In exceptional circumstances, an extension may be granted at the hotel's discretion.
  • If the deposit is not received within the 10-day period (or any agreed extension), the provisional booking will be cancelled, and the date will be released for other bookings.
  • Deposits are non-transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing by the hotel.

Cancellation Policy

  • If you cancel your event within 28 days of the event date, no refund will be issued.
  • If you cancel your event more than 28 days before the event date, you will receive a full refund of any refundable payments made.
  • Requests to change the date of an event are subject to availability and are entirely at the hotel's discretion.

Right to Refuse or Cancel
The hotel reserves the right to refuse, cancel or terminate any booking or event where it believes there is a risk to the safety of staff, guests or attendees, where these Terms & Conditions have been breached, or where continued operation of the event would be unlawful or inappropriate. Where the event is terminated due to a breach of these Terms & Conditions, any deposit paid may be forfeited.

Refundable Deposits

Where a refundable deposit has been taken, it will be returned provided that:

  • No damage has occurred to the hotel or its property.
  • There have been no serious breaches of these Terms & Conditions.
  • A minimum of £300 has been spent at the hotel bar during the event.

Refunds will be processed the day after the event using the original payment method. Please allow 3–5 working days for the funds to appear in your account.

Cash deposits may be refunded on the same day after the event where possible. If this is not possible, they can be collected from Reception the following day during opening hours (7:00am–10:00pm).

Decorations

Customers are welcome to decorate the function room as they wish. However, the following items are strictly prohibited:

  • Confetti
  • Glitter
  • Confetti-filled balloons
  • Table scatter or similar decorative items

Exceptions may be made for gender reveal balloons, provided that all contents are cleaned up by the customer before leaving. Any additional cleaning required due to decorations may result in the loss of part or all of the deposit.

Food & Drink

Customers are welcome to provide their own catering.

However, no alcohol or other beverages may be brought onto the premises. All drinks consumed within the hotel or function room must be purchased from the hotel's bar. Failure to comply may result in the loss of your deposit and/or the event being terminated.

Personal Property

Under the Hotel Proprietors Act 1956 (a copy of which is displayed at Reception), the hotel accepts no liability for loss of or damage to guests' personal property during their visit.

Smoking & Vaping

The hotel is a strictly non-smoking and non-vaping premises.

Any evidence of smoking or vaping inside the building may result in:

  • Loss of the deposit.
  • Removal of the individual(s) involved.
  • Immediate closure of the event.

Drugs

The use or possession of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited.

Anyone found using or possessing illegal drugs will be asked to leave immediately. Failure to comply may result in the event being closed, the loss of the deposit, and the police being contacted where appropriate.

Damage

The lead booker is responsible for the conduct of all guests attending the event and for ensuring they respect the hotel, its staff and its property.

Any damage caused during the event may result in the loss of the deposit.

If the cost of repairs, replacement or specialist cleaning exceeds the deposit amount, the remaining balance will be charged to the lead booker unless the hotel is provided with the details of the individual responsible and payment is successfully obtained from them.

Noise & Consideration for Hotel Guests

As the hotel accommodates overnight guests, all attendees must behave in a respectful manner.

Excessive noise or behaviour that disturbs hotel guests may result in individuals being removed from the event or, where necessary, the event being brought to an early close.

Theft

Any theft of hotel or bar property will result in the loss of the deposit and may be reported to the police.

Behaviour

Violent, threatening, abusive or aggressive behaviour towards staff, guests or other attendees will not be tolerated.

Anyone engaging in such behaviour may be removed from the premises immediately. Depending on the circumstances, the event may be terminated, the deposit forfeited and the police contacted.

Underage Drinking

The hotel operates a Challenge 25 policy.

Anyone found consuming alcohol while under the age of 18, attempting to purchase alcohol while underage, or purchasing alcohol on behalf of someone under 18 will be asked to leave the premises immediately.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
